To the left is before and to the right is the after. Kinda neat hm? Gives a little pop to a picture and makes it look like the sun was shining almost right in to the camera when you took the picture. Note: This was done in photoshop 7.

First thing is first do any editing you wanted to do to the picture first. I cropped this and sized it down.
- First step copy your picture layer on to a new layer.
- Next go to filter> render> lens flare
- A window will pop up. Change the brightness to about 187 or whatever you want but that’s what I used.
- After this click where you want the light to be coming from. I clicked top right.
- Click OK.
- Now copy your newly edited layer then drag the copy between the first layer and the second layer.
- Go to filter> blur> gaussian blue and change the number to 2.3 then click ok.
- After this go to image> apply image> change the blending option to screen. Do this about 3 times.
- Change the opacity of the top layer to to 79%.
- After this just flatten the layers.
Your done :3 enjoy your brightened picture.
