Changing cursors

April 19, 2008 by Cherise

Honestly I hate the default cursor for windows! I find it ugly and boring. This is how I spice it up!

  1. Download a curse you like I use this site a lot: Wishable.
  2. Unzip the file if you don’t know how see here: How to Unzip Files..
  3. You can close out of the window that opens you don’t need it just make sure you know where you’re cursor is saved.
  4. Go to your control panel for windows. If you aren’t sure where that’s at click your start menu and it should be listed on there.
  5. Click on “mouse.”
  6. A window with tabs will pop up look on the tabs for the word “pointers” click that.
  7. Click “normal select.”
  8. Click Browse.”
  9. Find the cursor you want to use click it and click “open.”

You can change any of the other cursors I only change the “normal select” and “link select” because if you change to many of them it’ll be kind of confusing. Its still a nice way to make your computer your own.
